Household hazardous waste

HHW collection and recycling of electronics , paper and tires will be held at the MSU Extension parking lot this Saturday, October 2 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Centerville ( 612 E. Main St.).

   This service is for St. Joseph County Residents only. Some of the items accepted are as follows : pesticides, pool chemicals, old gas, batteries, acids, oil based paints, pharmaceutical needles.

   VCR’s, DVD players, computers, phones, scanners, stereos and more.

 Tires will be collected at the rate of  $1 car tires, $3 semi tires, $15 tractor tires.
